P1 Portable
The P1 Coil is Blue in color with Yellow tuning ring. If this is not your configuration you have counterfit P1 system.
2 Base Rods all HF configurations, (3 base rods may be need for the lower part of the CW portion of 40 meters).
60-80 Coil adds to BOTTOM of main coil for 75-80 Meters.
Counterpoise is half the tuning (it is the other half of the dipole.) EXTRA WIRES ARE NOT BETTER.
Do not cut the counterpoise wire, just wind up the extra wire.
DO NOT USE ANY TOOLS TO ASSEMBLE THE P1 SYSTEM.
THREADS ARE PURPOESLY CUT OVERSIZE SO AS NOT TO BIND UP IN THE FIELD.
IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO HAVE THE ASSEMBLY TIGHTED BEYOND LOOSE HAND TIGHT.
